Impregnated Diamond Dressing Tools consist of a metal matrix with small particles of diamond distributed uniformly throughout the matrix. In many applications Impregnated Diamond Dressing Tools offer advantages over single point dressers. They are especially cost effective for dressing larger grinding wheels, such as centerless wheels. Impregnated tools allow greater depths of dress than single point dressers. Impregnated tools can withstand harsher use which would burn or crack single point diamonds.
