The CHISEL POINT dresser contains a fine, flat, long diamond, which is diamond lapped to a sharp chisel edge. The included angle on the chisel is polished to any angle specified, usually 60, 75 or 90 degrees, and is measured and checked with accurate measuring devises.
The CHISEL POINT dresser is used for very precise form, step and radius dressing. The lapped edge makes the CHISEL POINT inherently fragile, and it must be used gently to prevent chipping.

CHISEL POINT diamonds may be repolished when the point edge is worn dull.
